World of Difference

“World of Difference” is a new innovative programme of the Vodafone Foundation. The programme offers people from commercial or government sectors the opportunity to spend a year working for a non-profit organisation of their choice, with their salary costs covered by a grant from the Vodafone Foundation. It represents a unique opportunity for people who want to change the world for the better to make their dream a reality. It also provides non-profit organisations with the kind of valuable know-how not normally accessible to them and supports their further institutional development. The first 5 winners were selected in 2008 and they will be carrying out their non-profit projects throughout 2009.
