Vodafone Group Foundation

The Vodafone Group Foundation (VGF) covers the social activities of the Vodafone Group and Vodafone subsidiaries throughout the world. The VGF was founded in 2002 in order to support the activities of subsidiaries in individual countries, including their efforts to become responsible and valuable members of their respective local communities. The VGF is a registered charity organisation and covers grant activities that are intended to improve the living situations of people in various parts of the world.

Since its beginnings in 2001, VGF has distributed more than 85 million pounds sterling. In 2005 alone, the amount it provided through various grant projects totalled 25 million pounds sterling.
