Mission and objective
The Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation jis an independent and state-registered non-profit organization (entered in the foundation registry administrated by the Municipal Court in Prague under the number 27442268); its founder is Vodafone Czech Republic, a.s.
The foundation is managed by a six-member supervisory board.
With the establishment of the foundation, Vodafone Czech Republic, a.s. wants to have a hand in making the world a place where human solidarity is not a foreign concept and where the socially responsible activities of a firm are a common standard.
The objective of the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation is especially to support:
- the abilities, skills, and initiative of children and young people at project, organization, and local community levels
- improvements to the quality of life of underprivileged groups through projects that make use of the benefits of communications technologies
- development, capacity building and know-how support of non-profit organisations
